{"id":181,"date":"2008-12-21T08:37:10","date_gmt":"2008-12-21T15:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/taodekitchen.com\/tasty\/?p=181"},"modified":"2008-12-20T10:53:57","modified_gmt":"2008-12-20T17:53:57","slug":"salt-is-salt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taodekitchen.com\/tasty\/recipes\/salt-is-salt\/","title":{"rendered":"Salt is salt&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you ask a holistic nutritionist or a chef you will get huge protests!<\/p>\n<p>But today, lets just get down to a recipe&#8230;I decided to make some flavored salt for Holiday gifts and this one is now a staple in my kitchen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Herb Garlic Sea Salt<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1 cup loosely packed fresh herbs; leaves plucked, washed and dried (you can use one or more of: dill, rosemary, basil, sage, chives, tarragon, oregano, marjarom, thyme)<\/p>\n<p>I 1\/4 cup Redmond sea salt, fine<br \/>\n 2 to 3 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n <em>optional:<\/em> 2 tablespoons of lemon or orange zest<\/p>\n<p>Whirl up all ingredients in a food processor.&nbsp; Spread on a half sheet pan and dry in a warm *oven.&nbsp; Stir occasionally to break up lumps. When dry (about 1 hour), cool completely before storing in airtight jars.<\/p>\n<p>*a gas oven with the pilot or turn on the oven for about 15 minutes to heat up then turn off before putting in the salt to dry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you ask a holistic nutritionist or a chef you will get huge protests!
