The house these days kind of smells a bit acidic &#8211; not just from the Kombucha tea but my new obsession with fermentation &#8211; lactic acid not alcoholic <\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\"><font size=\"3\">I&#8217;m working through <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0967089735\/tastybytes-20\"><font size=\"3\">Sally Fallon&#8217;s Nourishing Traditions<\/font><\/a><font size=\"3\"> chapters on fermenting. So far I&#8217;ve made Dill Pickles, four quarts of Beet Kvass, and a batch of Sauerkraut is in the works. P got into the fermentation frenzy as well and put up two quarts of Ginger Peach &#8216;Beer.&#8217; Which should be ready for a taste right about now&#8230;<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt\"><font size=\"3\"> <\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whew!
